Hike Four to five hours
A little Brahmin, Gurung, and Sherpa community called Chisapani offers stunning views and excellent hiking opportunities all around it. The hike begins at Sundarijal, about an hour's drive from the heart of Kathmandu, past the city's primary water supply, and continues through Shivapuri National Park until it reaches Chisapani hamlet.
How to Get There (For Individual Trekkers)
Take a bus to Chabhil (10 minutes from Thamel) from Jamal, then change to a bus to Sundarijal at Chabhil. then get moving!
Places to Stay
A small number of teahouses exist, the most of which were harmed by the 2015 earthquakes. There should be something because the community is rebuilding. Camping is a choice as well.
